Welcome to Butte Central Catholic Schools
Faith. Family. Excellence. Tradition.
In the late 1800’s we came here in droves. Across an ocean and traveling thousands of miles by horse and wagon in search of a better life. Almost seventeen thousand students later, we are Butte Central Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Every day we prepare for college and beyond. Everyday we learn with state-of-the-art technology, with SMART Boards and Chromebooks in every classroom, from Pre-K to high school. 80% of our students receive college scholarship assistance worth $1.5 million dollars per year, and 95% of us go on to colleges and universities across the United States and the world. But most of all, our Faith is Central to everything we do. Butte Central Catholic Schools are accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and dedicated to helping students grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically and academically.

A few highlights from our Educator Airlift held yesterday afternoon.
An upwards of seventy people traveled from Kalispell, Missoula, Great Falls, Helena, Bozeman, Billings, and surrounding areas, to learn about the academy and visit with current cadets from their high schools.
During the luncheon, our guests learned about the Youth Challenge model of youth development and education. Guests also heard from three cadet representatives, Cadets Clay, Eby, and LaFountaine, who delivered speeches describing their unique education journeys.
We are fortunate to live in a state that has a passion for education! Thank you to the educators who spent the day with us and to the National Guard for providing transportation, as well as an orientation flight to a few of our very deserving cadets. We also thank UMW for supporting the event with a catered lunch, and to our local community for its continued support!

2022/2023 Maroon Activities Association
The Maroon Activities Association supports athletics and activities at Butte Central Catholic High School and Junior High School. Through the 108 years of Maroon athletics, we have funded our programs with donations, ticket sales, and concession revenues. Tuition dollars have never been used to fund athletics and activities.
This year our activities budget will require $210,000.00 to fund equipment, uniforms, officials, travel, and coaching stipends. We are asking all former Maroon athletes, boosters, parents, and friends to join us with a gift to the Maroon Activities Association. Your support will benefit seven boys and girls high school sports, cheerleading, music, pep band, choir, speech and debate, and our 7th and 8th-grade programs.
Facilities Maintenance Fund
The Butte Central Catholic Schools operate and maintain three campuses that include Butte Central High School, Butte Central Elementary and Junior High School, and the Maroon Activities Association. The costs to maintain our facilities with maintenance, utilities, and upgrades is a substantial expense annually for our system.
There are upgrades and improvements needed for both school campuses, and the Maroon Activity Center needs regular maintenance with its high volume of use both with our school system and the Butte community. An investment in our facilities allows us to maintain the necessary safe and productive learning environments for our students and staff. Please consider an investment in our Facilities Maintenance Fund to help us meet the challenge of providing top-notch facilities to our school system.

Scholarship Matching Gift Fund
In November 2021, a generous benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous, established an exciting matching gift challenge for donors who contribute to our scholarship fund. This incredible donor pledged to match all gifts to our scholarship fund up to $250,000.00.
Please consider a gift to this matching gift challenge. This fund is not only an investment in our school system but also in the student’s lives and their journey toward academic and civic leadership.
