Welcome to Butte Central Catholic Schools
Faith. Family. Excellence. Tradition.
In the late 1800’s we came here in droves. Across an ocean and traveling thousands of miles by horse and wagon in search of a better life. Almost seventeen thousand students later, we are Butte Central Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Every day we prepare for college and beyond. Everyday we learn with state-of-the-art technology, with SMART Boards and Chromebooks in every classroom, from Pre-K to high school. 80% of our students receive college scholarship assistance worth $1.5 million dollars per year, and 95% of us go on to colleges and universities across the United States and the world. But most of all, our Faith is Central to everything we do. Butte Central Catholic Schools are accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and dedicated to helping students grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically and academically.
Maroon Day of Giving
Mind – Body – Spirit
In the Butte Central Catholic School System, we take great pride in shaping the mind, body, and spirit of our students from preschool through high school. Our mission is centered on academic excellence, prayer and faith formation, and outstanding extracurricular activities. Your support of the Maroon Day of Giving will strengthen our community of faith and build an exciting future for our schools.
Please join us for the inaugural Maroon Day of Giving. The Maroon Day of Giving is a fundraiser designed to encourage our alumni, parents, past parents, and friends to consider a year-end gift and invest in Butte Central Catholic Schools. Supporters are asked to consider a contribution to a project or area that means the most to them.
2021 Annual Fund
Each year, the annual fund provides Butte Central Catholic Schools with an important source of revenue. The
Annual Fund is responsible for meeting the costs of education that are not covered by tuition and parish
A gift to Annual Fund 2021 will support teachers’ salaries, academic programs and resources, and the operation
and maintenance of the facilities. The goal of Annual Fund 2021 is to raise $500,000.00 for Catholic education.
To date, we have received $290,000.00 in gifts from 378 benefactors. Please consider a gift to this important
project and help us meet our goal of raising $210,000.00 before December 31, 2021.
Faculty Christmas Bonus Fund
This past summer, Butte Central Catholic Schools were blessed to receive a major donation to establish a new
fund to strengthen teacher salaries in our school system. It was the vision of this donor, who wishes to remain
anonymous, to increase the salaries of our faculty. Butte Central is extremely grateful to this amazing
benefactor, and we are excited to have this investment at the heart of our fundraising plan to improve our
In response to this generous investment in our faculty, we are asking for your support to demonstrate to our
faculty how much they are valued at Butte Central. We have set aside $10,000.00 from this newly established
fund to provide our staff with a Christmas bonus. We have also set a goal of raising an additional $10,000.00
towards this fund. Please consider a gift to our Teacher Bonus Fund.
2021/2022 Maroon Activities Association
The Maroon Activities Association supports athletics and activities at Butte Central Catholic High School and Junior High School. Through the 107 years of Maroon athletics, we have funded our programs with donations, ticket sales, and concession revenues. Tuition dollars have never been used to fund athletics and activities.
This year our activities budget will require $210,000.00 to fund equipment, uniforms, officials, travel and coaching stipends. We are asking all former Maroon athletes, boosters, parents, and friends to join us with a gift to the Maroon Activities Association. Your support will benefit seven boys and girls high school sports, cheerleading, music, pep band, choir, speech and debate, and our 7th and 8th grade programs.
Facilities Maintenance Fund
The Butte Central Catholic Schools operate and maintain three campuses that include Butte Central High School, Butte Central Elementary and Junior High School, and the Maroon Activities Association. The costs to maintain our facilities with maintenance, utilities, and upgrades is a substantial expense annually for our system.
There are upgrades and improvements needed for both school campuses, and the Maroon Activity Center needs regular maintenance with its high volume of use both with our school system and the Butte community. An investment in our facilities allows us to maintain the necessary safe and productive learning environments for our students and staff. Please consider an investment in our Facilities Maintenance Fund to help us meet the challenge of providing top-notch facilities to our school system.
Scholarship Matching Gift Fund
In November, a generous benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous, established an exciting matching gift challenge for donors who contribute to our scholarship fund. This incredible donor pledged to match all gifts to our scholarship fund up to $250,000.00.
To date, we have received $27,500.00 in gifts to this scholarship program. Please consider a gift to this matching gift challenge. This fund is not only an investment in our school system, but it is an investment in the student’s lives and their journey towards academic and civic leadership.
