Butte Central Catholic Schools IT Specialist

This position serves as an Information Systems Specialist for Butte Central Catholic Schools, a PreK-12 school system. This position operates and maintains the support function for the School’s information systems to achieve an effective and efficient learning environment. This position supports academic achievement through the operation of a robust, effective and efficient educational support operation. Hours will include 20-25 per week during the school year. Annual maintenance duties will be performed 2 weeks prior to the start of the school year, and 2 weeks at the end of the school year.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, a minimum of five years’ experience in desktop and/or end user support to include networking; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by the School. Experience including, but not limited to: desktops, networking, desktop application support, audio and video systems. Additionally, the incumbent should have experience providing support to a diverse stakeholder group. Entry level salary for this position is dependent upon experience.

Butte Central Catholic Schools Guidance Counselor

This position requires the ability to assess students' needs, strengths, and weaknesses through various methods such as one-on-one evaluations, conversations, standardized tests, group activities, and daily observations. Collaborating with students to determine their career goals and academic aspirations, as well as aiding them with college applications and career decisions, is another key aspect. Additionally, providing support in academic planning, fostering accountability and organization, and teaching essential skills like social interaction, studying, and test-taking are part of the role. Counseling students dealing with personal, social, disciplinary, or behavioral challenges is crucial. Working alongside teachers to enhance student achievement and social development is a collaborative effort.  Collaborating with educators, parents, and students to create, review, update, or adjust Individualized Education Plans or 504 plans for qualifying students. Finally, carrying out other duties as assigned is part of the responsibility.

Required Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential. A deep comprehension of the developmental milestones for students at various ages is necessary. Proficiency in interpreting assessment and aptitude test outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal skills with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages are required. A comprehensive grasp of indicators signaling abuse, neglect, or criminal behavior is essential. The capability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of personalities is important.

Butte Central Catholic Schools Maintenance Technician

As a School Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our educational facility. Your responsibilities will include performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues related to the school's infrastructure and equipment. You will work closely with the administrative team and school staff to uphold a conducive learning environment for students and faculty.

Required Skills:

Conduct regular inspections of school premises to detect maintenance requirements. Undertake repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical systems as required. Diagnose and address issues with school equipment, and classroom furniture. Swiftly respond to maintenance requests from school staff and administrators. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols throughout maintenance tasks. Contribute to the upkeep and tidiness of school grounds and facilities. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory levels. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs or installations when necessary. Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance initiatives to extend the lifespan of school assets. Offer assistance during emergencies, such as snow removal, power outages, or unexpected incidents.
